My name is Christopher Schnese. I’m a geek, film Enthusiast, iPhone Interface Designer, Geocacher, and I Host & Produce The Spoiler Warning Podcast.

More importantly though, I LOVE film. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve just always been drawn in. Whether discussing, joking about, quoting, or just plain experiencing them, films allow me to escape like nothing else.

So naturally, I love talking about them with both friends and strangers alike. I’m a pretty opinionated person though and when it comes to film, I’m no different. I have a reputation for being extremely tough on the films I see and it’s not uncommon for me to be called “hater”, “ruiner”, or “film snob”.

Though I can’t completely defend myself against those claims, I like to think my opinions carry at least a little merit. After all, that is why I refer to myself as a ‘film enthusiast’ and not a ‘film buff’. I’m the first person to admit that I’m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to film. I don’t know all the technical jargon. I haven’t seen every film ever made. and I haven’t even seen all the classics.

I do, however, love film and I love talking about it. For the last several months I’ve made The Spoiler Warning (a film enthusiast podcast that I produce and host) my main outlet for film discussion. Unfortunately, one weekly podcast isn’t enough to contain everything I have to say.

And so I present to you, reelperspectives.com. The new home to catalog all of my unique perspectives on everything film. Enjoy!
